Product Description:

The Festo ADVU-32 series features a double-acting, compact pancake pneumatic cylinder with a bore size of 32mm. It offers multiple stroke options, including 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 80mm, to suit various application requirements.

There are two main configurations available for selection. The P-A standard version comes without a sensor slot and is designed with a piston rod featuring an internal thread. On the other hand, the A-P-A sensor version includes an integrated magnetic switch slot and has a piston rod with an external thread.

This cylinder boasts a compact square aluminum body that provides a strong output force while occupying minimal installation space. Additionally, the entire series maintains uniform mounting dimensions and uses interchangeable sealing components. These features make it an ideal choice for medium to short-stroke automation tasks such as clamping, pushing, and positioning.

The original part numbers for the P-A version with internal thread are: 156535, 156536, 156537, 156538, and 156539. For the A-P-A sensor version with external thread, the part numbers are: 156621, 156622, 156623, 156624, and 156625.


Features:

The integrated design features a compact square structure that results in a shorter overall length compared to standard tie rod cylinders. This compactness significantly saves internal installation space within automation machinery, enhancing efficiency in system design.

On the other hand, the A-P-A model includes an integral magnetic switch groove on the cylinder body and features a piston rod with an external thread, enabling direct connection to floating joints and external fixtures, and it is compatible with magnetic proximity sensors.

The cylinder barrel is made of hard anodized aluminum, offering excellent wear resistance, as well as oil and corrosion protection. This construction ensures a long service life even under frequent and high-cycle operation conditions.

This series maintains a consistent 32mm bore size with a full range of medium stroke options including 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 80mm. Universal mounting holes are standard across all models, allowing for easy replacement without the need to modify the equipment frame, simplifying maintenance and upgrades.

Standard sealing kits from Festo are used throughout the series, ensuring interchangeable spare parts that reduce maintenance costs and facilitate straightforward repairs.
