KQG2H SUS316 Stainless Steel Fittings

SMC KQG2H series one-touch pneumatic fittings are manufactured from SUS316 stainless steel, offering corrosion resistant properties that are better than grade 304 stainless steel. SUS316 stainless steel offers higher pitting and corrosion resistance properties, and is especially suitable for chloride environments.

This range of one-touch fittings provides engineers with a choice of high performance and lightweight, compact push-in fittings when resistance to corrosion, chemicals and high temperatures is required. The KQG2H series is around 30% smaller and 62% lighter than the existing KQG range and available to tubing diameters from 3.2 to 16mm.

Moreover, the KQG2H series is suitable for use with compressed air, water, and steam, and able to perform across a diverse range of pressure ratings (-100kPa to 1MPa) and temperature conditions (-5°C to +150°C).

Features:

Compact and Light

This model is much shorter – about 30% – and also lighter – around 62% lighter when compared to the KQGL06-01S.

The stainless steel material used in this model is 316, and the special FKM is used for the seal.

This model can be used with FEP, PFA, Nylon, Soft Nylon, Polyurethane, and Polyolefin (PO) tubing.

Applicable Tubing:                           

Note 1) For soft nylon tubing, water cannot be used.

Note 2) Consult with SMC regarding applicable tube separately.

Note 3) Avoid using in a vacuum holding application such as a leak tester, since there is leakage.

Note 4) Check the operating pressure range and operating temperature range of the tubing.

Note 5) It is recommended that you use the inner sleeve in the following conditions (Except Ø3.2):

●When using at a high temperature.
