SMC's KQG2 stainless steel range is designed to meet the highest of standards when it comes to critical requirements such as resistance to corrosion, chemicals and high temperatures. Compared with the existing KQG2 series, the KQG2 fittings are 30% smaller and 62% lighter, and come in diameters from 3.2mm to 16mm.

Not only are these fittings resistant to corrosion, they are also capable of performing in a range of pressure environments (-100kPa to 1MPa) and temperature conditions (-5°C to +150°C). This makes them ideal for use with compressed air, water and even steam.

What helps SMC's KQG2 series stand out against the competition is the superior degree of corrosion resistance provided by SUS316 stainless steel. Compared to grade 304 stainless steel, this grade provides higher pitting and corrosion resistance properties. This makes it perfect for use in chloride-rich environments.

Features: 

This product is extremely compact and light, comparing with its predecessor KQGL10-00. Its body is composed of stainless steel 316, and its seal parts are special FKM. It can be applied in various material of tubes, such as FEP, PFA, Nylon, Soft Nylon, Polyurethane, or Polyolefin. The functional temperature range is between -5 and 150°c, and it is both grease-free and steam -compatible.

Applicable Tubing: FEP, PFA, Nylon, Soft nylon (Note 1), Polyurethane and Polyolefin with Tubing 0.D. of Ø3.2, Ø4, Ø6, Ø8, Ø10, Ø12 and Ø16.

Specifications: Fluid (Note 3) of Air, Water and Steam (Note 2). Operating pressure range is -100 kPa to 1 MPa (Note 4); proof pressure is 3.0MPa with ambient temperature of -5 to 150°C (No freezing) (Note 4). Lubricant required is of Grease-free Specification with sealant on the threads.

Temperature conditions: FEP tubing/TH Series requires the Inner Sleeve Temperature of 80°C or more, while Super PFA tubing/TL Series requires the Inner Sleeve Temperature of 120°C or more.
