SMC KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings offer consumers a wealth of benefit. These fittings are 30% smaller and 62% lighter than the existing KQG range and compatible with a wide range of tubing diameters from 3.2 to 16mm. Their lightweight and compact design allows them to be used in various environments — from compressed air and water to steam — while their performance in diverse pressure and temperature conditions (-100kPa to 1MPa and -5°C to +150°C respectively) is ideal. What's more, these fittings are made of SUS316 stainless steel, offering superior corrosion resistant properties compared to the grade 304 stainless steel. Such properties make them particularly suitable for chloride environments.In conclusion, SMC KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings are designed for engineers who need a reliable fitting in corrosive and high-temperature settings. Features:

The KQGL06-01S is compact and light, featuring dimensions approx. 30% shorter and an approx. 62% lighter weight in comparison with other models. Its metal parts are made of stainless steel 316, while its seal parts are made of special FKM. It can be used with various tubing materials, including FEP, PFA, Nylon, Soft Nylon, Polyurethane and Polyolefin, and supports fluid temperature from -5 to 150°C. Moreover, it is grease-free and can be used with steam.

Applicable Tubing:                           

Note 1) For soft nylon tubing, water cannot be used.

Note 2) Consult with SMC regarding applicable tube separately.

Note 3) Avoid using in a vacuum holding application such as a leak tester, since there is leakage.

Note 4) Check the operating pressure range and operating temperature range of the tubing.

Note 5) It is recommended that you use the inner sleeve in the following conditions (Except Ø3.2):

●When using at a high temperature.

●When using at a high temperature.
