Pulse valves are the "switch" for compressed air in the dust clean blowing system of the pulse bag filter. It is used to control the release of air pulses in the cleaning cycle. When the dust collector control board starts the cleaning cycle, it sends an electrical signal to the solenoid valve, and then activates the pulse valve. Inside the pulse valve, the rubber diaphragm opens and closes to release the compressed air stored in the air header. At this time, the air enters the blowing pipe above the filter through the valve, and then enters the filter down to clean the filter bag.

Pulse Jet valves are indirect type solenoid valves. When the solenoid of pulse jet valves gets energized, air trapped in the diaphragm is exhausted causing pressure difference in the diaphragm. Then the diaphragm is suddenly opened. When it is de-energized, air passes through the hole to the chamber which can balance the air pressure and close the valve. The opening and closing of the valve are done very fast for filter cleaning and consumption of compressed air effectively.
