The Type 6281 is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valve, manufactured by the German company Bürkert. This valve is part of the S.EV general fluid control series and features a Normally Closed (NC) configuration with a brass body.
Operation of the valve is achieved through a diaphragm that opens and closes driven by the differential pressure of the medium. The brass body used in the standard model meets European drinking water standards, including certifications KTW and W270. For international water treatment applications, a dezincification-resistant brass variant is also available.
The valve’s nominal diameter ranges from DN10 to DN50, accommodating two types of internal threading: G thread and NPT thread. It is suitable for handling neutral media such as water, compressed air, and weak acidic or alkaline liquids.
Due to its versatile design, the Type 6281 serves as a universal solenoid valve ideal for industrial applications involving fluid on-off control, flow shut-off, and medium dosing regulation.
