Product Description:

The Burkert 6281 series is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valve engineered for dependable shut-off, dosing, and filling applications involving both neutral and aggressive gaseous and liquid media. Constructed with a robust stainless steel body combined with an FKM (fluororubber) seal, this valve ensures exceptional resistance to corrosion and outstanding performance in high-temperature environments.

A minimum differential pressure of 0.5 bar is necessary to achieve complete switching of the valve. Its design includes a vibration-resistant, centrally screwed coil system alongside a damped mechanism, which work together to provide quiet closing operations and extend the valve’s service life. The FKM diaphragm specifically offers remarkable resistance against hot air, various chemical solutions, oils, and solvents, supporting media temperatures ranging from 0°C up to +90°C, and even reaching +120°C when using the epoxy coil variant.

Thanks to the stainless steel construction, the valve exhibits superior durability even when exposed to aggressive media and challenging operating conditions. To optimize energy efficiency, the valve is available with coils fitted with "Kick and Drop" (KD) electronic assemblies, which utilize double coil technology to reduce power consumption during use.

For ease of maintenance and commissioning, the valve can be equipped with a manual override feature. When used together with a compatible cable plug conforming to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A standards, the valve meets the IP65 protection class requirements. Installation is flexible as the valve can be positioned in any orientation, though it is recommended to install the actuator in an upright position for optimal performance.
