The Burkert 6014 series comprises direct-acting plunger solenoid valves, engineered for dependable control of neutral gases and liquids within industrial automation and process applications. These valves boast a compact design that includes a welded stopper and a plunger guide tube, which significantly improves pressure resistance and ensures leak-tight performance. Available in both 2/2-way and 3/2-way configurations, the 6014 series offers Normally Closed (Circuit Function C) and Normally Open (Circuit Function D) options to accommodate a wide range of control needs. The valves support port sizes of G1/8 and G1/4, with orifice diameters of 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, and 2.5 mm. This variety provides flexibility in flow rates suitable for numerous applications. The valve bodies are made from brass or stainless steel, and they feature FKM (fluororubber) seals as standard, which are compatible with media temperatures ranging from -10°C to +120°C.

The direct-acting plunger design allows these valves to operate effectively at pressures from 0 bar up to 16 bar, depending on the orifice size. This capability makes them ideal for applications that require operation at zero differential pressure, including technical vacuum environments. The valves utilize robust epoxy-encapsulated coils consuming 8 watts, capable of sustaining a 100% continuous duty cycle.
