The Burkert 5404 series is a servo-assisted 2/2-way piston solenoid valve that comes in both normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) configurations. To ensure proper switching functionality, a minimum differential pressure is necessary. The solenoid coils are encapsulated with high-quality epoxy resin or polyamide, enhancing durability and performance.
To minimize power consumption during operation, the series offers coils equipped with a "Kick and Drop" (KD) electronic assembly, which utilizes double coil technology. When paired with a plug conforming to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, these valves achieve an IP65 degree of protection.
