BFEC electromagnetic pulse valves are flagship products of Shanghai Bag Filtration Equipment Co., Ltd., which is presently known as Shanghai Bag Filter Technology Co., Ltd. The origins of the company trace back to the environmental protection division of Shanghai Carbon Factory. Since 1978, it has been supplying pulse valves and dedusting solutions. In 1997, the company formed a joint venture with U.S. Gore, further enhancing its technological capabilities.

The company holds a significant position in the environmental sector, serving as a standing council member of the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry. It leads the development of one national standard, five industry standards, and five group standards. A pulse valve functions as the essential "switch" controlling compressed air within a pulse-jet baghouse dust collector. The valve operates by receiving electrical signals from a pulse controller, triggering it to open and close rapidly. This action releases bursts of high-pressure air from the air manifold into the filter bags. The sudden expansion and vibration of the bags help to effectively shake off accumulated dust.

The main valve series offered include several specialized types:

  • DMF-Z Right-Angle Type: Features a 90° angle between inlet and outlet with a threaded connection. Its compact design allows for easy maintenance, making it well-suited for small to medium dust collectors.
  • ZF Right-Angle Flanged Type: Equipped with flanged inlet and outlet connections, this type simplifies the installation process even further.
  • DMF-Y Submerged (Embedded) Type: Installed directly on the air manifold, this valve offers superior flow performance and reduced pressure loss, ideal for systems with low-pressure air sources.
  • DMF-T In-Line Type: Designed with 180° straight-through ports to facilitate smooth airflow.
