A pulse valve functions as the "switch" for compressed air within a pulse-jet baghouse dust collector. It operates under electrical signals sent from the pulse controller and opens or closes instantaneously. This action releases high-pressure air from the air manifold in short bursts which enter the filter bags. The sudden surge of air causes the bags to rapidly expand and vibrate, effectively dislodging the accumulated dust.
