BFEC electromagnetic pulse valves are flagship products manufactured by Shanghai Bag Filtration Equipment Co., Ltd., which is currently known as Shanghai Bag Filter Technology Co., Ltd. The company has its roots in the environmental protection department of Shanghai Carbon Factory and began providing pulse valves and dedusting solutions since 1978. In 1997, it entered into a joint venture partnership with U.S. Gore to enhance its product offerings. As a standing council member of the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, the company plays a key role in developing industry regulations, having led the formulation of one national standard, five industry standards, and five group standards. Moreover, it holds more than 70 intellectual property rights and has obtained CE and PCEC certifications.
The pulse valve functions as a critical component in pulse-jet baghouse dust collectors, essentially serving as the "switch" for compressed air. It operates by responding to electrical signals from the pulse controller, quickly opening and closing to release bursts of high-pressure air from the air manifold. These pulses enter the filter bags, causing them to rapidly expand and vibrate, which effectively dislodges the accumulated dust particles. The device operates within a working pressure range of 0.1 to 0.86 MPa, with a recommended pressure between 0.3 and 0.6 MPa. It is designed to work using clean and dry compressed air as the medium. Multiple power options are available, including DC 24V, AC 36V, AC 110V, and AC 220V. Additionally, the product features an IP65 protection rating and can operate effectively in environments where the relative humidity does not exceed 85%.
For applications in hazardous areas, an explosion-proof coil is available as an optional upgrade. Furthermore, a square rubber gasket can be added to enhance sealing and durability according to specific requirements.
The product is manufactured with extruded threads that are three to four times stronger than standard threads, which significantly improves resistance to stripping even after multiple maintenance cycles. The surfaces undergo vibration polishing combined with anti-corrosion treatments to ensure longevity and reliability. Consistent quality is maintained through the use of automatic lathe machining processes.
