The Burkert 6213 EV series consists of servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valves engineered for dependable shut-off, precise dosing, and efficient filling of neutral gaseous and liquid media. These valves are widely used in industrial automation and process control applications, offering high reliability and performance.
Equipped with a spring-coupled diaphragm, the valves facilitate the opening process effectively, enabling reliable operation starting from zero bar differential pressure. Their damped design contributes to silent closing and ensures low noise levels during operation, making them suitable for noise-sensitive environments.
Available in a 2/2-way normally closed configuration (Circuit Function A), the 6213 EV series supports port sizes ranging from G1/4 up to G2, with orifice diameters spanning 10 mm to 40 mm (DN 10 to DN 40). This extensive range provides excellent flow flexibility, accommodating small dosing tasks as well as higher flow demands, with Kv values reaching up to 11 m³/h. The valve bodies are manufactured from brass as standard, complying with European drinking water standards. For other regions, dezincification-resistant brass options are available, along with stainless steel variants designed for aggressive media applications. The seal and diaphragm materials include NBR, FKM (fluororubber), and EPDM, all rated for media temperatures between -30°C and +120°C.
The servo-assisted diaphragm mechanism in the standard liquid variant requires a minimum differential pressure to fully open. However, a special HP00 model is offered for gas and vacuum conditions, capable of opening the valve without any differential pressure. The valves are fitted with sturdy coils, either polyamide or epoxy-encapsulated, consuming 8W of power and supporting a continuous duty cycle of 100%. Voltage options include DC24V, AC24V, and AC220V, with a tolerance of ±10%.
To enhance energy efficiency, Kick-and-Drop (KD) coils incorporating double coil technology are available, which reduce electrical consumption during valve operation. Electrical connections are standardized via a cable plug according to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, providing IP65 protection when paired with an appropriate connector.
The modular construction of the 6213 EV series allows for flexible installation, featuring a vibration-resistant, screwed coil system. Combining high flow rates within a compact design, low power usage, and diverse material options, these valves ensure reliable and leak-proof performance for demanding fluid control tasks. Additionally, ATEX-certified variants are offered for use in hazardous environments.
The spring-coupled diaphragm supports the opening process, ensuring reliable operation starting from 0 bar differential pressure. This design enhances performance and operational stability across various conditions.
Featuring circuit function A, this configuration provides fail-safe operation tailored for process control applications. It ensures safety and reliability in critical system environments.
Available port sizes range from G1/4 to G2, complemented by orifice diameters between 10 mm and 40 mm (DN 10 to DN 40). This variety supports diverse flow requirements across multiple industrial applications.
The bodies come in brass, including a dezincification-resistant option, as well as stainless steel. These materials offer excellent corrosion resistance suitable for both neutral and aggressive media.
Seals and diaphragms are available in different materials to ensure broad media compatibility: NBR (-10°C to +80°C), FKM (0°C to +120°C), and EPDM (-30°C to +90°C).
Despite its compact design, the system delivers a high flow rate with Kv values reaching up to 11 m³/h, promoting efficient operation within fluid systems.
A damped design guarantees quiet closing and reduces audible noise, improving the working environment especially where noise reduction is critical.
Compatible with global power supplies, this product operates on DC24V, AC24V, and AC220V with a power consumption of 8W, making it versatile for various electrical infrastructures.
Designed to support continuous operation without overheating, this ensures long-term reliability and consistent performance under demanding conditions.
Equipped with Kick-and-Drop (KD) coils employing double coil technology, this design reduces electrical power consumption during operation, contributing to energy efficiency.
The product is dust-tight and protected against water jets when used with a suitable cable plug conforming to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, ensuring durability in harsh environments.
Featuring a screwed coil system, it provides secure operation even in high-vibration environments, maintaining performance and safety.
This special variant opens without requiring differential pressure, making it ideal for gas and vacuum applications.
Explosion-proof versions are available to meet the strict safety requirements of hazardous area applications.
With appropriate material selections, the product is suitable for use in drinking water applications, complying with necessary health and safety standards.
The design allows for modular installation, either individually or in manifold assemblies, thereby reducing installation space and enhancing system flexibility.
