The Burkert 6213 EV series comprises servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valves, specifically engineered for dependable shut-off, dosing, and filling of neutral gaseous and liquid media. These valves are widely utilized in industrial automation and process control applications. A key feature is the spring-coupled diaphragm, which assists the valve opening process, allowing it to operate reliably even at zero bar differential pressure. Their damped construction ensures quiet closing action and minimizes operational noise.

Available in a 2/2-way normally closed configuration (Circuit Function A), the series offers port sizes from G3/8 to G1 and orifice diameters ranging between 10 mm and 25 mm (DN 10 to DN 25). This extensive range of orifice sizes provides exceptional flow flexibility, accommodating tasks ranging from precise small-volume dosing to higher flow demands, with Kv values reaching up to 11 m³/h. The valve bodies are made with brass as the standard material, complying with European drinking water standards, while dezincification-resistant brass is offered for other markets. For applications involving aggressive media, stainless steel bodies are available. The seal and diaphragm materials include NBR, FKM (fluororubber), and EPDM, supporting media temperature tolerances from -30°C up to +120°C. Additionally, the solenoid coils are encapsulated in chemically resistant epoxy for enhanced durability.

The servo-assisted diaphragm mechanism in the standard liquid variant requires a minimum differential pressure to fully open. However, for applications involving gas or vacuum, a specialized HP00 variant exists that enables valve opening without any differential pressure. The valves come equipped with robust polyamide or epoxy-encapsulated coils consuming 8W of power, capable of continuous operation at 100% duty cycle. Voltage options include DC 24V, AC 24V, and AC 220V, all with a tolerance of ±10%. To improve energy efficiency, Kick-and-Drop (KD) coils with dual coil technology are available, reducing electrical power consumption during operation. Electrical connections utilize a tag connector compliant with DIN EN 175301-803 Form A (previously DIN 43650) standards, achieving an IP65 protection rating when paired with an appropriate cable plug. The valves can be installed in any orientation, although upright positioning of the actuator is recommended.

The modular construction facilitates flexible installation with a vibration-resistant screwed coil system.
