The NORGREN 18D Series (Model 0880 / 0881) is an electro-mechanical pneumatic pressure switch that has been extensively proven in industrial automation applications. It functions as a diaphragm-actuated pressure monitor and is suitable for tasks such as pressure alarm, interlock, and loop control. This series is designed to operate across a wide pressure range from vacuum up to 30 bar, offering multiple choices for port connections, including G1/4, 1/4 NPT, and flange mounting options.
Users can select between two types of electrical connections: the DIN EN 175301-803 Form-A and M12×1 IEC 947-5-2 connectors. Additionally, LABS-free variants and special brass-body versions tailored for water service are available, making these switches suitable for neutral gases, liquids, and water media applications.
The switch features a gold-plated contact microswitch that meets UL and CSA certifications, ensuring intrinsically safe operation. Note: It is recommended that set-points be set within the middle of the pressure range. The pressure should never exceed the rated pressure indicated on the nameplate. Inductive loads require spark-quenching protection circuits. Connectors are sold separately; DIN or M12 plugs are not included.
