The pressure switch comes equipped with a gold-plated contact microswitch that is UL and CSA certified, ensuring intrinsically safe operation. It is engineered to withstand vibration up to 15 g and offers a mechanical service life of up to 10 million switching cycles with excellent repeatability. The standard housing is made of aluminium alloy, while brass housing options are provided for models intended for water service. Seal materials include NBR and FPM, and the device boasts a maximum ingress protection rating of IP67, making it suitable for challenging factory environments.

When the system pressure reaches the preset point, the SPDT micro-switch activates an electrical signal that can be used for machine interlock, alarm triggers, and on/off control in pneumatic machinery, hydraulic circuits, and water treatment equipment.

Note: Set-points should ideally be positioned near the midpoint of the pressure range. It is important not to exceed the rated pressure indicated on the nameplate. Inductive loads should incorporate spark-quenching protection circuits. Connectors are sold separately; DIN or M12 plugs are not included.
