IMI Norgren non-return valves are premium inline one-way pneumatic components designed to allow free flow of compressed air in one direction while completely preventing any reverse back-flow within pneumatic circuits. This product range includes four main families: the heavy-duty brass S/520-S/532 threaded non-return valves, the push-in tube-to-tube T50P non-return valves, the lightweight and compact T55 inline non-return valves, and the T60 Air Fuse inline excess-flow automatic shut-off safety valves.
The S/520-S/532 heavy-duty series features a robust brass body built to withstand high-pressure industrial environments up to 16 bar. These valves come with G and NPT thread options, and there is also a high-temperature variant available that can operate at temperatures up to +150°C, utilizing FPM seals for enhanced durability.
The T50P push-in non-return valves utilize a quick-connect tube connection system suitable for outer diameter tubes ranging from 4 to 12 mm. They support vacuum conditions down to -0.9 bar and have an ultra-low cracking pressure between 0.03 and 0.05 bar. Their design allows for fast and straightforward field assembly without the need for thread sealing.
The T55 inline non-return valve is a silicone-free, lightweight aluminium-bodied check valve, featuring a low cracking pressure of 0.05 bar. Its compact size makes it ideal for installations with limited space, and it can operate at working pressures up to 10 bar. The port sizes range from G1/8 to G1/2.
The T60 Air Fuse is a specialized uni-directional excess-flow shut-off safety valve. It automatically cuts off the airflow if a hose rupture or major leakage occurs and resets itself once the fault is cleared. This valve is designed to protect flexible hoses and complies with industrial pneumatic safety regulations.
All Norgren non-return valves are intended for use with filtered compressed air, whether lubricated or non-lubricated. They undergo rigorous testing according to the ISO-6358 standard and are widely used in factory automation pneumatic circuits.
Our product offers a variety of series options to suit different applications. These include the heavy-duty threaded S/520-S532 series, the push-in T50P series, the compact T55 safety air-fuse, and the T60 model.
It operates efficiently across a broad pressure range, starting from a vacuum of -0.9 bar up to a maximum of 16 bar. This wide operating pressure ensures adaptability in diverse working environments.
The valve features a low cracking pressure, with a minimum of 0.03 bar, allowing the valve to open with minimal resistance to flow. This characteristic enhances performance by reducing pressure loss.
Connection options are versatile, including G and NPT threaded connections as well as push-in tube fittings compatible with outer diameters from 4 to 12 mm, providing flexible installation choices.
The materials used for the body options include brass and aluminium, while the seals are standard NBR with an option for FPM high-temperature seals, ensuring durability and reliability under various conditions.
The standard temperature range for operation spans from -20°C to +80°C. Additionally, the S-series offers an optional high-temperature capability up to +150°C for more demanding applications.
The T60 Air-Fuse model provides enhanced safety features such as hose-burst protection, automatic reset functionality, and a tamper-proof design, making it a dependable choice for critical safety requirements.
Installation is straightforward with a simple inline, line-mount design. The compact structure of the product contributes to high reliability and a long service life, reducing maintenance frequency.
It is compatible with various media including filtered compressed air and inert gases (specifically for the T60), as well as both lubricated and non-lubricated air, broadening its usability across applications.
