Product Description:

IMI Norgren non-return valves are high-quality inline one-way pneumatic components engineered to allow compressed air to flow freely in one direction while entirely preventing any reverse back-flow within pneumatic systems. This product range encompasses four principal families to suit various industrial needs.

The first family, the S/520-S/532 heavy-duty series, features robust brass bodies designed to withstand high-pressure industrial environments up to 16 bar. These valves are offered with both G and NPT thread options, and a high-temperature variant is available with FPM seals that support operating temperatures up to +150°C.

Next, the T50P push-in non-return valves provide a quick-connect tube connection suitable for outer diameter (OD) tubes ranging from 4 to 12 mm. These valves support vacuum conditions down to -0.9 bar and have an ultra-low cracking pressure between 0.03 and 0.05 bar. Their design ensures fast and easy installation in the field without the need for thread sealing.

The T55 inline non-return valves are made from lightweight aluminum without silicone content, featuring a low cracking pressure of 0.05 bar. Their compact size makes them ideal for installation in limited spaces. These valves can operate at pressures up to 10 bar and come in port sizes ranging from G1/8 to G1/2.

Lastly, the T60 Air Fuse is a specialized unidirectional excess-flow automatic shut-off safety valve. It immediately cuts off airflow if a hose ruptures or a significant leakage occurs and automatically resets once the fault is cleared. This valve provides critical protection for flexible hoses and complies with industrial pneumatic safety standards.

All Norgren non-return valves are intended for use with filtered compressed air, whether lubricated or non-lubricated. They undergo rigorous testing according to the ISO-6358 standard and are widely utilized in factory automation pneumatic circuits to ensure reliable and efficient operation.

Features:

✅ Multiple series options are available to meet various application needs. These include the heavy‑duty threaded S/520‑S532 series, the push‑in type T50P, the compact T55, and the safety air‑fuse T60 model.

✅ The products support a wide operating pressure range, starting from a vacuum of -0.9 bar up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar, ensuring versatility in different working conditions.

✅ Designed with a low cracking pressure of just 0.03 bar, they provide minimal flow resistance when opening, which contributes to efficient and responsive operation.

✅ Various connection types are offered, including G and NPT threaded fittings as well as push‑in tube connections for outside diameters from 4 to 12 mm, allowing easy integration into existing systems.

✅ Material options include robust brass and aluminium bodies, complemented by NBR seals as standard, with optional FPM seals available for high-temperature applications.

✅ The temperature range for standard models spans from -20℃ to +80℃, while the S-series provides an optional high-temperature capability up to +150℃ for more demanding environments.

✅ The T60 Air‑Fuse offers hose-burst protection with an automatic reset feature and a tamper-proof safety design, enhancing reliability and safety during operation.

✅ Installation is straightforward with a simple inline line-mount design, featuring a compact structure that delivers high reliability and a long service life.

✅ These components are compatible with filtered compressed air and inert gases (specifically for the T60), and they can be used with both lubricated and non-lubricated air media.

Applications:

Factory industrial automation relies heavily on pneumatic control circuits to ensure efficient and reliable operation. These systems are integral in managing various automated processes within manufacturing environments.

Pneumatic technology is widely applied in machine tools, packaging machinery, and textile equipment, where precise and responsive control is essential. These applications benefit from the flexibility and power that pneumatic systems provide.

In the field of robotics, pneumatic actuators form a critical part of the actuator loop, including features such as cylinder back-flow prevention to maintain system integrity and performance.

Protecting core components such as compressors, air dryers, and air preparation units is vital for maintaining system longevity and avoiding downtime. Specialized protection mechanisms help safeguard these elements against damage.

Safety is a priority in pneumatic systems, and the use of devices like the T60 Air Fuse is mandatory to prevent hazards from flexible air-hose rupture. This safety measure helps ensure operator protection and system reliability.

Conveying equipment and material-handling pneumatic systems utilize these control technologies to optimize movement and processing efficiency in various industrial settings.

Additional applications include automotive assembly lines and printing machinery, where pneumatic circuits play a key role in automating repetitive tasks with precision and speed.

Vacuum pneumatic circuits, such as those in the T50P series, offer specialized functionality for applications requiring controlled vacuum environments within industrial processes.
