The ZFC series consists of compact, in-line air suction filters engineered to protect vacuum equipment from dust, particles, and various contaminants. These impurities can cause operational issues in pneumatic vacuum circuits. By being mounted directly within the suction line, positioned between the vacuum generator and the suction cup, these filters efficiently block debris from entering vacuum pumps, ejectors, and valves. This protection helps extend the lifespan of critical vacuum system components.
One of the standout features of the ZFC series is its dual-pressure capability. A single filter unit can effectively manage both vacuum pressures as low as −100 kPa and positive pressures up to 1.0 MPa. This versatility makes the filter ideal for combined vacuum-and-blow-off circuits without the need for separate filtering devices. Additionally, the inclusion of one-touch fittings allows for quick and tool-free connection and disconnection of tubing. The cartridge-type filter element can be replaced easily by simply opening the cover with one touch, even while the filter remains installed in the piping system.
The ZFC series supports port sizes ranging from ø4 mm to ø12 mm in metric units and ø5/32″ to ø3/8″ in inch units. Recommended flow rates vary between 10 L/min and 100 L/min (ANR) under vacuum conditions. Filtration options include 5 μm or 10 μm elements, with the standard 10 μm cartridge offering a filtration efficiency of 95%. The transparent housing is crafted from a special clear nylon, and some variants come with a polycarbonate case as standard, both enabling easy visual inspection of the filter element for contamination. For secure mounting on panels or machines, B-suffix models provide an integrated mounting bracket.
This unit offers dual compatibility with both positive and vacuum pressures, efficiently handling vacuum levels down to −100 kPa and positive pressures up to 1.0 MPa. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.
Installation and maintenance are simplified by the inclusion of one-touch fittings, which allow for quick and tool-free tube connection and disconnection. Additionally, the cartridge-type element can be replaced easily by opening the cover with a single touch, requiring no tools and enabling replacement even while still connected to piping.
Safety and convenience are enhanced by a lock mechanism designed to prevent components from scattering if they become loose during positive pressure operations. The transparent case, made from special clear nylon or polycarbonate, allows users to visually inspect the element for any contamination without disassembling the unit.
Filtration efficiency is also ensured, with options for 5 μm or 10 μm filtration. The standard 10 μm element achieves a filtration efficiency of 95%. Despite its capabilities, the unit remains compact and lightweight due to its molded resin construction, with the ZFC100 series weighing only 11.5 grams.
For secure installation, B-type models come with a B-suffix mounting bracket. The product supports a broad range of port sizes, accommodating metric tubing from ø4 to ø12 mm, as well as inch tubing from ø5/32″ to ø3/8″.
Flow rates range from 10 to 100 liters per minute (ANR), making the unit suitable for small to medium vacuum circuits. It is compatible with various tubing materials, including nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane, and soft polyurethane.
The operating temperature range is from 0 to 60°C, ensuring reliable performance without freezing. Regarding element durability, the differential pressure resistance is rated at 0.15 MPa for the ZFC10 and ZFC20 series, and 0.10 MPa for the ZFC05 series.

Vacuum suction cup protection plays a crucial role in preventing dust and particles from infiltrating the vacuum circuit. This safeguard is essential to avoid damage to sensitive components such as ejectors and pumps, ensuring the system remains efficient and reliable.
In pick-and-place systems, filtration is implemented on the robotic hands and material handling suction lines. This process helps maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the vacuum system, which is vital for precise and accurate handling of components.
The semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries benefit significantly from vacuum circuit protection. This is particularly important during chip picking, optical lens handling, and precision assembly operations, where even microscopic contamination can lead to defects.
Automotive assembly processes utilize vacuum adsorption for transferring and retaining body panels and various components. Protection of these vacuum circuits ensures smooth and consistent operation throughout the assembly line.
In food and medical equipment sectors, vacuum filtration is applied during packaging, processing, and the assembly of medical devices. This filtration helps maintain hygiene standards and prevents contamination, which is critical in these sensitive applications.
Printing machinery employs vacuum filtration for hold-down and transfer functions. Effective filtration protects the equipment and ensures precise control over the printing process.
Automatic transfer equipment relies on vacuum generators and valves for operation in automated production lines. Filtration safeguards these components, enhancing durability and performance.
For systems that combine vacuum and blow-off circuits, a single filter is capable of managing both vacuum adsorption and positive-pressure release. This dual-function filtration simplifies the design while maintaining effective protection across the system.
